O.k, much to go over
here, so let's get right down to it.
1-Our album, 13 Years Of Friday
Nights won "Best Album Of
the Year" at the LOCAL MUSIC AWARDS at the
Highdive in Champaign-Urbana. Thanks
to all of you out there for your support.
We are very proud of the album and winning
this meant a lot to us.
2-The new kid, Magic
Andy Baylor will debut with the band at
The Iron Post, Friday April 11th at 11:00pm.

"TO EVERY THING, TURN, TURN, TURN,
THERE IS A SEASON, TURN, TURN, TURN,
AND A TIME TO EVERY PURPOSE, UNDER HEAVEN"
With heavy, but grateful
& understanding hearts, the Delta Kings
have accepted Kenny's resignation from the
band. T'is not for us to judge. Kenny has
always been pretty straightforward and if
he says, he is done and he is tired, it
is not for us to argue. We have had
the same 4 guys for going on 15 years, so
that ain't too bad. Hell, it is longer than
the original line-up of the Stones, Byrds,
Eagles, Skynryd & Kinks and even Tom Petty,
so all I can say to Mr. Kenny, is thanks
for all the great times and you will be
missed, but life and the band must
& will goe on... Now ya know. He's gone,
no ill will wished either way. He is a super
talented guy who certainly made us all the
richer for his talent and friendship.
We ill miss ya, KD. Watch this space for
the latest updates on what's shakin' with
the band. The Delta Kings
january 1st, 2008- Happy

missed ya all of late, but soon, hopefully,

In the meantime, we are prouder than punch
to announce that our newest CD - 13 YEARS
OF FRIDAY NIGHTS was chosen as one of the
top five cds of the year by the News-Gazette.
Wow! Thank you all for all of your
support in our band and we will be back
sooner than soon.
December 1st- Due
to Benign Medical reasons, all december
gigs are cancelled and we will resume gigs
after january, beginning february
November 2nd-Canopy
Club - Showtime 8:00pm The Delta Kings
will be sharing a bill with the legendary
Eddie Money. Tickets only $25.00
SEPTEMBER 23RD 2007-
As I sit here in Champaign, Illinois, sittin'
on the back porch with the Stones Let It
Bleed playin' in the background, I find
myself given to reflection... It is a

outdoor festival and streetfest type shows

for the gigs, and the big guy in the guy
for the sunny days and cool nights.
3- Fender Deluxe Reverbs for Kenny & me.
less volume & more sound 4a- our myspace
site - www.myspace.com/Deltakings - some
cool interaction with our lovin' public
- Hey, that's you! 4b-Our studio catalogue
is now, more or less - tech glitches aside-

pleased for our friends in Luxembourg!

close out the Wall 2 Wall guitar festival
at Krannert Center for The Performing Arts

Harden, Rena Day and Doc Lecouris for bringin'
on the heat and extra thanks for Bobby Watson
for showin' up too! WHATTA GAS!
So, thanks to everyone for making this the
best year ever.

"Right around the corner is REO Speedwagon
Way, the street named for us, and which
is in the heart of the revitalized downtown

cafes, and rocking clubs all over this newly
happening area. Bryan and I sat in with
a great band called the Delta Kings at a
